New in This Release

This is the first release of the NiFi component. Starting from EEP 9.0.0, the MapR Data Platform supports Apache NiFi in core releases 7.1.0. The key features of NiFi are:

Known Issues and Limitations

All processors launch under NiFi user. This user is a cluster admin (mapr user).
NiFi doesn't support the following:
- Livy
- Spark
- MapR Database DB JSON
- Installation on edge nodes
- MapR SASL for UI
