Upgrading Oozie

This section describes how to upgrade Oozie without the MapR Installer.

Procedure

Run the following command to upgrade Oozie using a package manager:
  • On RedHat/CentOS:
    yum update mapr-oozie-internal mapr-oozie 
  • On Ubuntu:
     apt-get install mapr-oozie-internal mapr-oozie
  • On SUSE:
    zypper update mapr-oozie mapr-oozie-internal
On CentOS 7.2 nodes: For upgrades from Oozie 4.1-1602 or Oozie 4.2-1602 or below, complete the following steps instead:
  1. Delete the Oozie packages with the following commands:
    yum --setopt=tsflags=noscripts remove mapr-oozie-4* 
    yum --setopt=tsflags=noscripts remove mapr-oozie-internal-4*
  2. Run the following command to install Oozie using a package manager:
    yum install mapr-oozie-internal mapr-oozie
