  Administration of the MapR-DB is done primarily via the command line (maprcli) or with the MapR Control System (MCS). Regardless of whether the MapR-DB table is used for binary files or JSON documents, the same types of commands are used with slightly different parameter options. MapR-DB administration is associated with tables, columns and column families, and table regions.

Managing Another Unsecure Cluster Using MCS

About this task

When logged into the MapR Control System of a cluster, you can go to the MapR Control System on another unsecure cluster. To navigate to the MCS on another unsecure cluster:

Procedure

Select the name of the cluster to go to from the dropdown list associated with the name of the cluster you are logged into.

After a few minutes, the MCS login page for the other cluster displays.
