Ubuntu Repository Location for MapR 5.2.1
The Ubuntu repository location changed for MapR 5.2.1 – but not for pre-5.2.1 releases. To add the repository to /etc/apt/sources.list, use the following configuration entries:
MapR 5.2.1 and later:
deb http://package.mapr.com/releases/<version>/ubuntu/ binary trusty
MapR 5.2 and earlier:
deb http://package.mapr.com/releases/<version>/ubuntu/ mapr optional

Default value change for Yarn scheduler
The default value for one of the yarn parameters changed for MapR 5.2.1 – but not for pre-5.2.1 releases. The new default value for "yarn.scheduler.maximum-allocation-vcores" changed from "32" to "4".
